Great job by Kate trying to manage the tight crowds and navigation amongst 1000’s of people. If you don’t have a guide, it will be very difficult for you. Kate provided great insight and knowledge of history with current events of the Jubilee year and recent death of the Pope.

Amazing tour from a guide that cares a lot about explaining every detail possible. Would recommend to anyone that is interested in a tour of the Vatican.

Our guide Siriana was superb and makes the whole experience super awesome. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history and what she is doing. It was very helpful joining a guided tour especially with the forum and Palatine Hill parts as it would be quite difficult to navigate yourself there as they are mostly ruins.

Walking through such historically significant buildings and amongst important artwork was always a must-do, but I never expected to connect with it so deeply. “Wow! Our guide was so wonderful! We spent very little time waiting in any lines and despite the crowds, she made the experience so informative and interesting. The guards rerouted us at one point to an unexpected area and you could just see her light up at the chance to tell us all about the other areas of the Vatican museums. I overheard guides with other groups getting flustered at the change but she knew all about the history of the artifacts. We hit all the high points through Vatican City and it was just long enough. I would not have gotten a good experience on my own and to see all that she showed us own my own would have taken me all day. We also got to see the Vatican pickleball courts from one of the palace windows, which made me laugh.”

The tour was great! We went for the 3pm tour, and although it was busy, it was no where near as busy as when I had seen the area between 11-3. Our guide was Anna and she was absolutely incredible! Anna was a superb tour guide. She was very thorough with the tour, ensuring we saw everything we wanted to as a group and explaining it all extremely well. Andrea has such profound knowledge of not only the Vatican, Basilica and St Peter’s but the artists whose works adorn the walls and ceilings as well. Anna was a wonderful and informative guide. She had so much knowledge and was skilled with guiding our group of 12 around the Vatican. It is busy at the Vatican but it was not unexpected and Anna was able to keep us as a group and moving. We ended it in St Peter’s Basilica which is extraordinary and we stayed after our tour to see even more.

Our guide is very knowledgeable and drew our attention to treasures with more prominent historical significance within the tour duration. Tania was very good in delivering the tour and narrative despite the very hot weather on the day.

It was a fantastic experience, I would highly recommend it to anyone. Even though there was a slight delay in entering the museum, once we were in I couldn’t believe how knowledgeable and thoughtful our Guide Anna was. She has an extensive knowledge of the art works and it’s artists, and she took the effort to explain things in details. I had a lovely time and would definitely recommend seeing Vatican City this way. It’s organized well and makes everything very easy. I really enjoyed my experience. Everything was so easy and well organized. It was lovely learning all about Vatican City.

This tour is great value and 100% worth it if you plan to visit Rome during the high season. We did not have to wait in any lines which made the experience extra special and worth every extra penny. Our guide, Anna, was very knowledgeable and did a great job at keeping track of the entire group. A plus side to this experience is that the group caps out at 13 people, making it very easy to walk all together and to even make some friends! Other tours you will see are super large and tend to block up the entire area of most sites – i’m glad this was not like that, it felt a lot more personal. I highly recommend doing a guided tour through all of the sites in Vatican City if you plan to visit as you will learn so much more and appreciate the art and architecture in greater value! Thank you so much for making my first trip to the Vatican City and Rome so memorable!
