Amazing museums but amazingly overcrowded. We went on a small group tour with emotion.com. The tour company and our guide Olga were 5 stars. Our overall rating is down graded due to the overcrowded conditions. The down grade is for things under the Vatican’s control. You are packed in and herded through like sheep. There was not time to fully see and truly appreciate the art and history. This is the kind of thing where you are glad you went but would not suffer through the hectic crowded conditions to do it again. Heaven help you if you attempt this by you self or with a tour group of more than 12.
