This was the BEST tour of all the tours we had during our 17 days in Italy. There were only 4 of us in the group and the guide was Andrea. We went to 4 different places in his neighbourhood starting with a bakery where we had different cheeses, a charcuterie board and wine, followed by pizza at a local pizzeria, (4 different pizzas baked in a stone oven, soooo good!) then we went to this little store that was swamped with locals shopping. It was awesome because it showed how important the relationships are with store owners and their customers. Although very busy, the store owner invited us behind the counter for a picture with him. A truly memorable visit. Finally we ended off with gelato at Gunther’s Gelato which was the best gelato we had. (And we had a lot!) This tour was like visiting an old friend and having him take you around parts of town that aren’t flooded with tourists. Make this tour a definite must, you will not be disappointed. Cheers!
